Refund Policy

The terms and conditions for canceling, returning, and refunding products posted and sold on https://www.jyothys.com/index.html and its mobile and tablet applications (collectively, “Jyothys”) are outlined in this cancellation, return, and refund policy (“Policy”) and the Terms of Use. Hereinafter, the items sold and listed on Jyothys will be referred to as “Products.”


You agree to be bound by the terms contained in this Policy in its entirety by using Jyothys and/or submitting a request to purchase a product on Jyothys. It is advised that you avoid transacting on Jyothy if you disagree with the terms contained in this policy. Please note that we reserve the right to change the policies governing your ability to cancel, return, or refund products you bought on Jyothys. Check the Policy each time you want to use Jyothys to make sure you are aware of the terms and conditions that are in effect at that particular moment.


You have the option to cancel your order before the product is sent. Once the shipment process has begun, the order cannot be canceled.

(a) (b) The order cancellation request may be made by phoning our customer care number or by using any other method that may occasionally be advised to you.

(b) Your order will be immediately canceled upon receipt of your request for a cancellation, and the refund process will begin 48 hours after the cancellation is confirmed.


(a) You may start a product return within the allotted time frames and conditions. Subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this Policy, we would accept the request for the return of such a product.

(b) We advise you to submit a request as soon as possible on the Jyothys if you have received any products that are returnable under the conditions of this policy.

At our sole discretion, we will verify if: 

      • the claims of non-compliance with the Products or their faults and damages are acceptable by us, or

(b) If, after verification, it is determined that the non-compliance, defects, or damages are the result of our default, the return request will either be accepted or rejected. To verify this, we can ask you to email us images of the damaged or defective product you received, or we might arrange for a staff member to come out and examine the merchandise. In addition to assessing the damage or the issue raised in the return request, Jyothys is free to decide how best to handle the situation in light of the assessment report.

(c) Please be aware that if you decide to return or cancel the products, the refund amount for such a transaction will be determined after we verify the products and the related documents. Items that meet the criteria for return under this policy will be handled within 2 to 3 business days after we verify that the product is defective or does not comply. Only after the conditions, as may be specified by Jyothys, are met will your refund be handled. The original payment method that you used gets credit for the refund amount. You acknowledge that the terms and conditions of your financial institution or payment solution provider may apply and that it may take longer for your refund to appear in your account once it is initiated.

(d) Please be informed that for Products, for which you had opted for ‘Cash on Delivery’, as a payment option, you will receive refunds in your bank account (as per the bank account details provided by you to us).

(e) The amount claimed as a refund will be refunded to you within 15 working days depending upon the mode of payment chosen by you. Sometimes banks or financial intermediaries take a longer time to process the refund request. However, if the refund does not happen by the date advised, you may contact us, and we will gladly help you.
